Phoenix pools

Google says that it will be 112 today. Yikes, we had been so spoiled.

The afternoon routine of walking through the park and then cooling off at the pool has been foiled by school. With the kids going back to class last Monday, there are few potential pool goers and even fewer high school kids to bake in the lifeguard stand. It's such a sharp contrast to Milwaukee. Here, the pool stays open consistently for a short 8 week stint. Back in Beer Town, we swim at least 5 months a year - beginning as soon as the ice melts;)
