The bandwidth conundrum sent me looking for alternate file hosting sites. I have tried 4 different sites today - registered, uploaded files, and played with html code to load the tunes to this here blog.

Each of the four sites claims to be free - then at some point along the journey to sharing the music with blogger, they drop the "Please upgrade for that function" on you. I wish they would just be straightforward from the get go.


Several of the sites appeal to artists who are trying to get their work out to the public. "Our site is FREE because we support up and coming musicians...." yet around the corner, the upgrade pitch lurks.
