Hold me to this...

I want to turn my back yard into a citrus orchard. My understanding is that it's not really all that much work to care for fruit trees - just a lot of water...very responsible in AZ, but then again - water in AZ or oil from Kuwait and Fallujah to fill the tankers to haul the oil to Cali to fill the eighteen wheelers, to carry the green picked fruit to PTown so I can fill my tank with some of that Fallujah Gold, drive to the grocery store and pay somebody else for a piece of green fruit that could have ripened on the vine right out my back door - I'm gonna give it a shot.

Now here's the rub - VERY VERY VERY unlikely that I stay in this house long enough to reap the benefits. Oh well, this September, I'm planting these trees. Any helpers will receive beer this time around, and fresh squeezed juice in 2012.
